The Witch Queen of New Orleans by Funky Nashville
It begins with an especially vicious hoodoo murder. Not only did the victim suffer terrible anguish during his death throws, but when his body died so did his soul. Such hoodoo soul eating magic has come from a strong practitioner. Who could it be and more importantly why was it done? The man who died was Kallie Riviere’s lover. Fairly soon it becomes clear that she was the intended target. Could it have something to do with her hoodoo family connections and her dark, tragic past?

Numero Un

Numero Deux

Numero Trois
Discipline by Nine Inch Nails
Me and Heather went out and did some desperately needed shopping. She’d had to leave almost everything behind in Seattle, and when the house was torched in New Orleans, losing my stuff was nothing, pure nothing, compared to the bigger loss of ma chere amie.
Clothes and guitars and books and shit can be replaced, yeah?
When a life is gone . . . gone, hell . . . fucking stolen, it’s gone forever.
D’accord, Heather just whispered in my ear to breathe out slow and return to the present, this moment with y’all. Okay. J’su ici.
We had fun, for true. We hit the stores and tried on stuff. Heather watched me peel clothes on and off and I definitely did the same with her when it was her turn. We learned that we have very different tastes in clothes, but that made it all the more fun. The sales ladies in those high end department stores didn’t know what to think when I searched the racks for clothes for Heather to try on. (I couldn’t get her to slip on any of the clothes I picked out for her in the goth and fetish shops. LOL. A shame, for true. But ma catin looks good in anything . . . or nothin’. *winks*) They didn’t know what to think either when I went into the dressing room with Heather either. *laughs* Like I said, we had beaucoup fun!
So, above are some of the pants I bought and one of the shirts is below. I like all three, but numero un is Heather’s fav at the moment. Let me know which is y’all’s fav.

What shows are on your DVR must-watch list? If you don’t have a DVR, what show is the one you wait (with barely restrained excitement) to watch each week?
Don’t watch TV? No prob. Just name your fav spot to curl up and read.

Y’all’d Think She’d Be Good 2 Me by C.C. Adcock

So Adrian cornered me and said I needed a spot to say whatever I wanted. Yeah? Really? I thought I did that already. LOL. I didn’t earn the nickname Disrespectful Brat for nothin’.
I wanted to thank everyone who chatted with me last night and wished me a happy birthday. To those who missed it, the next drink is on you, yeah? *winks*
